The weekend's top qualifiers in NHRA's Pro Stock and Funny Car divisions both held on Sunday to win the season opening CARQUEST Winternationals at Pomona Raceway. Greg Anderson beat eighth-place qualifier Greg Stanfield for the Pro Stock victory, while Gary Scelzi took the Funny Car victory against Robert Hight.
