Surfers Paradise, October 20, 2006 – The Champ Car action got underway today at the 2.795-mile street course in Surfers Paradise, Australia with the presentation of the first round of qualifying. It was a challenging day for the Mi-Jack Conquest Racing Team as they took the 11th and 13th spots on the provisional grid.
