In 2002 had de première plaats van het in opdracht van het Arlington-Belmont
Chamber Chorus door de Israëlisch-Amerikaanse componist Ariel Blumenthal gecomponeerde
‘Peace Poems’ – “a powerful statement illuminating despair over war, and hope for
peace. This beautiful setting contains texts in English and Hebrew from diverse
sources: the Bible, 17th-century philosopher Baruch Spinoza and 20th-century
poet Yehuda Amichai.”
Dit stuk zal weer worden uitgevoerd in een concert dat op 6
maart zal worden gegeven in "An Almost-Spring Concert” van de Philharmonic
Society of Arlington met “the Arlington-Belmont Chorale and the
Arlington-Belmont Chamber Chorus, conducted by Barry Singer.” [Cf.]
