The whole team — and our track equipment — cleared customs Monday night from Japan to get ready for this weekend's race in Kansas City. By far the hardest part was getting our bodies to regroup after our internal clocks were set on Japan time, which is 13 hours ahead of Eastern time. Luckily for me, my first thing Tuesday wasn't until noon: my hair appointment!
