A reflective Katherine Legge has admitted that her inability to find time on the softer option tyres probably cost her a legitimate shot at Champ Car's rookie title in 2006.
Speaking to Crash.net Radio, the 26-year old claimed that her race performances through the season should have been good enough to take the fight to eventual champion Will Power and British rival Dan Clarke right up until the final round in Mexico City, but confessed that her qualifying performances left her with too much to do on race day.
