Daar blogse een reactie die Nico van Hengstum vanmorgen gaf op het blog van 8 augustus over wat Etienne Balibar met het gebruik van het begrip 'transindividualiteit' bedoeld kan hebben, al niet meer onder "laatste reacties" laat zien, geef ik die hier in een apart blog even door (waarbij ik de gegeven link aanklikbaar heb gemaakt).

staat het volgende over het gebruik van het begrip transindividualiteit door Balibar:
Etienne Balibar has suggested the term transindividuality to conceptualize that which both sides of this alternative occlude: relations as mutually constitutive of the individual and collective. The term is drawn from the work of Gilbert Simondon, who contested the privilege Western thought gave to the individual, developing an ontology, or ontogenesis, of individuation. Balibar has suggested that this term could be used to make sense of various figures in the history of philosophy, Spinoza, Hegel, and Marx, whose thought refuses the binary of individual or totality.
