Al eerder heb ik er in een blog op gewezen hoe een aantal personen met behulp van Youtube-filmpjes serieus in het openbaar aan het filosoferen zijn – vaak in reactie op elkaar. Blog van 12 okt. 2009: De YouTube Spinoza. Het is alles niet te volgen – zou een eeuwig leven vergen.
Zo stootte ik onlangs weer eens op een jonge Engelse die als Youtube-naam 2bserius koos. Ze gaf deze beschouwing de titel: Free Thought and "god". Daarin reageert ze op prof. Corey Anton, een van de actieve Youtubosofen. En ze leest (en kan zich -begrijpelijk- niet vinden in) een passage uit een artikel van Christof Koch, waarvan de tekst, licht aangepast, ook te vinden is in zijn: Consciousness. Confessions of a Romantic Reductionist. Ik citeerde diezelfde passage in mijn blog van 16-4-2012:
"I do believe that some deep and elemental organizing principle created the universe and set it in motion for a purpose I cannot comprehend. I grew up calling this entity God. It is much closer to Spinoza's God than to the God of Michelangelo's painting. […]
